Pep Guardiola Denies Racism Allegation, Calls It A Lie

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has denied Yaya Toure's claim that he didn't pick the Ivorian at Barcelona due to the colour of his skin. We were together for two years and now this is when he says it.

The Spaniard has now responded to the accusations, telling Catalan station TV3: "It's a lie and he knows it".

City and Guardiola initially declined to comment on the quotes.

Guardiola refuted the allegations and also highlighted the timing of Toure's interview.

Similar success followed at Bayern Munich before the 47 year-old guided Manchester City to Premier League and EFL Cup glory this season, but his time on the field and in the dugout for Barca means Guardiola remains inextricably linked to his boyhood club. I don't know why but I have the impression that he was jealous, he took me for a rival. When you see the problems (Pep) has often had with African players, everywhere he has been, I ask myself questions.

To beat them you will be suiting up in a Javelin, one of four different exoskeletons that protect you from the harsh environment. The trailer released by EA didn't specify too much about the gameplay but we shall learn more about that soon enough.

"He will never admit it but the day he fields a team with five Africans, non-naturalised, I promise that I will send him a cake." he added. He was cruel with me, ' Toure told France Football.

Pep Guardiola has ruled out ever returning to coach Barcelona again, and says that "the stars aligned" during his first stint in charge. "No, I am a coach and I am good at what I do, you can't be everything".

"It was a generation of brutal players and the best player in the world [Lionel Messi]".

Xavi left for Qatar two seasons ago and Andres Iniesta left for Japan at the end of this season - arguable the two most influental players in the side.
