Ryan Gosling Is Neil Armstrong In The First Man Trailer

Following astronaut adventures like The Right Stuff and Hidden Figures, First Man focuses on Neil Armstrong and his spacefaring buddies at NASA during the Apollo moonshot missions of the late 1960s. This trailer was first aired on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight before it arrived online for all to see. The movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost - on Armstrong and on the nation - of one of the most unsafe missions in history. For First Man, he's packing him into a rocket and sending him to the moon. Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll, Jason Clarke and Brian d'Arcy James are also part of the cast, among others.

In the amusing interview, Ryan appeared to be annoyed by the questions that Jimmy was asking. Chazelle explains: "we wanted to tell the story about one of the most epic accomplishments in human history, but root it very much in the intimate and the day to day details of what it was actually like". Armstrong steadfastly responds to questions of that nature by saying they were planning on the moon flight being successful.

Cavs head into great unknown with free agency looming
It is a tricky, treacherous domain, but one that last year established the Rockets as a contender for years to come. And that's the reason why I came here - an unselfish environment where they just care about the game.

While Armstrong is confident in his future achievement, his wife Janet is not so sure.

First Man is an adaptation of James Hansen's 2005 biography, First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong. She imagines her husband travelling 240,000 miles to land on the moon, telling her husband that it wasn't just another trip, adding that he isn't just "going to work".
