Bethesda says Fallout 76 mods will be coming 'sometime after launch'

With so much interest and excitement surrounding Fallout 76, it's no surprise that pre-orders for the Power Armor Edition have already sold out.

At the company's showcase at the E3 electronics convention, game director Todd Howard said the game will be entirely online, but not mainly a multiplayer game. The upcoming game is, as rumored, an open-world survival game with a "soft" death system that won't result in you losing critical character progression or other resources. You receive a notification on your smartphone once theFallout 76 Power Armor Edition is in stock for pre-order.

Retailers are selling a Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition, also known as the Deluxe Edition, that comes with some extra goodies.

The standard edition of Fallout 76 is the most basic version.

The Fallout 76 beta hasn't got a release date, yet, but will obviously arrive before the game goes is released later this year on November 14. The Fallout 76 regular release is on sale for $47.99 on Amazon.

Bethesda games do have a reputation for not exactly working how they should, being able to send horses flying into the air on Skyrim or falling through to fall of a Vault in Fallout. So what do fans of Fallout get with the Power Armor Edition?

The Fallout 76 characters will be playing alongside no more than a few dozens of characters.

Howard said in the presentation that the legacy of West Virginia from its many monster stories, its actual nuclear bunker and its veil of mystery as a little-known state, made it the flawless mystical place for a new "Fallout" landscape.
