Kyrie Irving Asked About His Future With The Celtics

"Really integrating myself with our team again and really focus on winning a championship", Irving said. "But obviously I can't really control that".

Traded to Boston from Cleveland late last summer, Irving seamlessly fit into the Celtics' plans this past season, with the best shooting percentage of his career to date, as well as a team-leading 24.4 points per game. The 26-year-old is recovering from two knee surgeries and a nasal procedure that repaired a deviated septum. "It was going to be a process coming back, just making sure I'm healthy enough for September". From "Uncle Drew" promo tours to rumors of his departure to NY slated for 2019, Irving has now repeatedly said something without saying anything. "I'm on the floor doing some running activities, but I'm not running on the treadmill or anything like that".

It's the kind of thing that makes you raise your eyebrows if you're a Celtics fan or a person who wants Irving suiting up for their team some day.

When he referenced Hayward, Irving smiled wide and added, "and now getting my man Gordon back - I'm excited man". He raved about Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, then noted how Marcus Smart gave up his body and "that's the type of attitude and effort you'd love to be part of".

The Celtics' star guard, who has been rumored to have interest in signing with the Knicks should he opt out of his contract and become a free agent next summer, hinted at testing the free-agent market in 2019. "So I'm just trying not to push it too hard, just taking my time with the rehab and feeling good. You try to focus on what's important, what we need for going into next year, how being aware of who we have now, what we're capable of, the things that we need to kind of fix or get done, and go from there".

Ghost of Tsushima was first announced last October when Sucker Punch studios revealed they were working on a new property. On top of that, the gameplay trailer also introduces the five villains that will be in the game - and one mysterious one.

As for his own future in Boston?

Kyrie Irving is not exempt from any of these discussions.

"You guys know I overanalyze everything", Irving said with a smile.

Irving did note that he hasn't had any conversations with Boston's front office about James and said he appreciates the transparency of team brass as they map out their future vision. They have experience, our young guys, that other young guys in the league aren't necessarily afforded. "We pretty much have open dialogue with the direction we're going in and we all feel confident that we all have something to offer here".
