E3 2018: Star Fox and Starlink Crossover Announced at Ubisoft E3 Event

One of the biggest surprises of E3 so far has been the reveal that Fox McCloud of Nintendo's Star Fox is joining the space assault of upcoming Toys-to-Life game Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas - What is it?

The above trailer showcases the reveal of Star Fox coming to Starlink: Battle for Atlas, the trailer also revealed the release date for the title.

Releasing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, you'll be able to build a toy modular Arwing, attach it to the controller and use it within the game's space fights. Throughout your adventure you can swap out its parts whenever you want.

The announcement saw Ubisoft bring out Shigeru Miyamoto, who was given the very first Star Fox NFC ship as a gift. Featuring special guest pilot Fox McCloud and his Arwing. Each pilot has different skills to gain an advantage in battle.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas was announced at E3 2017 but has stayed relatively quiet since then.
