The Trump Administration Is Separating 65 Children a Day From Their Parents

An audio recording that appears to capture the heartbreaking voices of Spanish-speaking children crying out for their parents at a USA immigration facility has stoked the outrage over the Trump administration's policy of separating immigrant children from their parents.

After concluding his speech at Tuesday's business event, Trump hugged the American flag and thanked attendees.

"When you prosecute the parents for coming in illegally, which should happen, you have to take the children away", he said. "Then after my auntie gets me to bring me home with her, my mom will come as soon as she can, to pick me up".

After his remarks, the president raised eyebrows by walking across the stage, arms outstretched, and embracing a United States flag.

The president has accused Democrats of provoking the crisis by blocking legislation to combat illegal immigration.

"Democrats are the problem". John Cornyn (R-TX) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), would have poison pills.

Denham has spearheaded an effort in the House for a vote on an immigration measure favored by moderates that would provide legal relief to "Dreamers" - young immigrants whose deportation was deferred under the Obama administration.

Her criticism of the protocol of separating immigrant kids from their parents should they cross the border illegally also came in the wake of the leader's recent remarks that the Democrats were to blame for the policy being introduced. They're being separated because the Trump administration, under its zero-tolerance policy, is choosing to prosecute border-crossing adults for any offenses.

The administration has fiercely defended their policy which has been criticized by both Republicans and Democrats.

He says he's requesting a "third option" from Congress that will allow officials to detain children and parents together as a family unit.

Manchester United to demand record fee for Anthony Martial
Jose Mourinho has reignited his interest in the Chelsea winger Willian this summer. The report claims that Man United are preparing a £60M bid for Willian .

Texan Congresswoman Sheila Lee told CNN she had been to the border and witnessed the "cries and screams of these little ones", as well as mothers saying they feared they would never see their children again.

Still, the President does have close allies who loudly agree with his policies - and undoubtedly many more supporters quietly agreeing in front of their televisions.

It was a defiant stance amid growing outrage at the family separations.

Democrats say the crisis is of Trump's own making, and accuse him of using children as pawns.

At a detention centre in McAllen, Texas, hundreds of immigrant children were waiting in a series of cages created by metal fencing. "Children belong with their families".

In the past weeks, heartbreaking images and audio of children crying for their parents have captured the nation's attention as lawmakers seek to find a solution to end the separations and the White House doubles down on its insistence that it is simply enforcing the law. He said he supported the bill, I guess.

The picture is being widely circulated on social media speaking against the U.S. government's move to separate children of adults illegally entering the United States. There are now 12,000 children in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services.

The majority crossed the border without their parents. Their visits to the U.S. -Mexico border are meant to increase pressure on the Trump administration to end the practice of separating families.

Sessions was forced Monday to rebut comparisons to the policies of Nazi Germany - which he called "a real exaggeration".
