France look to continue winning run against Denmark

The goals finally dried up at this thrilling World Cup on Tuesday when a flat France and tiresome Denmark played a mutually beneficial 0-0 draw at the Luzhniki Stadium which allowed the French to finish top of Group C and the Danes to qualify in second spot.

Denmark will need just a point from their final Group C game with France to qualify for the last 16 of the World Cup, with Les Bleus already through.

Peru finished third by beating Australia in the other game as Denmark were never under threat from losing second place to the Aussies.

Follow all the action with Sportsmail's TOM FARMERY ahead of kick-off at 3pm (BST). The first 0-0 of the 2018 tournament, though, had been on the cards from an early stage.

Giroud's hooked effort well over the bar summed up a match that had been low on both quality and chances, but Fekir - whose introduction had brought some much-needed spark - forced Schmeichel into a save with another attempt from distance. When asked if Hareide's reported comments had added spice to the match, Deschamps told reporters: "Salt, pepper, vinegar... whatever you wish". Didier Deschamps is likely to rest some key players for the tie after narrow victories over Australia and Peru. This will not be an easy task, considering that the French are arguably one of the most talented squads at this tournament and also one of the favourites to go on and win the event.

The Mi Max 2 which came with a 6.44-inch display and 5,300mAh battery measured 174.1 x 88.7 x 7.6 mm and weighed 211 grams. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has been launched at a starting price of CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,500) for the basic variant.

"If I can preserve them, it's now", Deschamps said.

They proceeded to play out a dour draw that was devoid of the attacking intent and endeavor that have characterized Russian Federation 2018 so far - bringing a record run of 36 games without a goalless draw to a sleep-inducing halt. This will be a tough game for Denmark since France are a strong nation but the Danish fans will have hope and belief in their side.

France can afford a few changes against Denmark but I think Olivier Giroud deserves another start.

Antoine Griezmann ballooned a cross too high as France came forward, and with a quarter of an hour gone France wanted a penalty when Lucas Hernandez tumbled under Henrik Dalsgaard's challenge.
