Samsung Ghana launches 4 new affordable smartphones with flagship features

Thanks to a new report from SamMobile, the first images of what is being called the Samsung J2 Core have surfaced.

The Samsung Galaxy On6 comes with an Infinity display and is priced at Rs 14,490. In Samsung's case, the iconography and other stylistic details are the same as we're used to from the company's other Android devices.

Similar to the Galaxy J-series and the Galaxy A-series, the Galaxy On6 also comes with an Infinity Display.

Like the iPad Pro which went with slimmer bezels in order to pack in a larger display without making the device larger, Samsung has made some substantial changes to the Galaxy Tab S4. The Galaxy On6 also features 13MP rear-side camera with LED flash and HD video recording ability. The colours to be offered are: Black, Grey, Violet/Purple, Blue and Brown.

Smartphones have becoming the next big thing with features like voice and facial recognition, fingerprint scanner and camera quality. The Samsung DeX Pad Desktop Experience Accessory looks unassuming enough, but it's actually the key to a smartphone experience like none other. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, coupled with Mali T830 MP1 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

According to Mr. Eugene Nahm, the new mid-range devices also feature dual rear cameras that allow users to capture professional grade bokeh images and express themselves in a unique manner. Also on offer is 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. That means it's possible the Galaxy Tab S4 could introduce an under-screen fingerprint scanner, like that on the Vivo X21. Unfortunately, as the S-Pen now will use Bluetooth to communicate, we can expect it to be thicker than previous generations as a battery is definitely needed to power the stylus. It will be running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top. Up front there's an 8-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture and features like "Selfie Focus" and "Beauty Mode".
