Robin Wright speaks about ex-'House of Cards' star Spacey

I didn't know the man.

This is the first time that Wright has publicly addressed the controversy surrounding her former co-star of five years.

"House of Cards" Season 6 will debut on Netflix later this year.

The rest of Today's interview with Wright will air in the fall, closer to House of Cards' return. "He was so great with me", she said of Spacey. "That is the only thing I feel I have the right to talk about".

Asked if Netflix made the right move by ousting Spacey a year ago, Wright told Guthrie, "I don't know how to comment on that".

Robin Wright has broken her silence on her former House of Cards co-star Kevin Spacey after he was sacked from the series following allegations of sexual harassment and assault.

Injured goalie saves Croatia as Russian Federation beaten in Fifa World Cup quarterfinals
A number of other Croatia players were receiving massages and stretching of their legs before extra time and before the shootout. This was quickly followed up with a 3-1 win over Egypt and Cherchesov's' team punching their ticket for the Round of 16.

Do not ask Robin Wright if she could have predicted the wave of sexual misconduct allegations against Kevin Spacey. Spacey also came out as gay in the same statement, much to the chagrin of many members of the LGBT community. Spacey tweeted his "sincerest apology" for what he labeled drunken behaviour.

The last series ended with Spacey's character, President Frank Underwood, resigning from office and allowing Claire - Robin Wright's character - to ascend, all of which he seemingly planned from the get-go.

"I haven't heard from him and I don't even know how to reach him", Wright said.

"The shock was so intense all over the nation for many reasons, many stories, many people", she explained.

"I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened", Wright told NBC News' Savannah Guthrie.

"I think that Wendi doing what she did served as enough of a distraction that maybe he didn't see us", said reporter Rachael Pacella, who was in the newsroom when the gunman, who had a longstanding grudge against the newspaper, opened fire, killing Winters and four others.
