In Fiery Interview With British Tabloid, Trump Criticizes Prime Minister, London Mayor

In an interview in Friday's Sun, Mr Trump said he would have carried out Brexit negotiations "much differently" and claimed the Prime Minister did not listen to his advice.

Trump also insisted on Friday that he did not criticize May during his interview and said the tabloid failed to include his praise of May in the article. "The idea that we would park our rights and privileges and freedoms because it may cause offence to a USA president, I think people in London and the United Kingdom would find objectionable as indeed would Americans", he said.

"Fortunately, we tend to record stories now, so we have it for your enjoyment if you like it".

Trump told The Sun that such a deal "will probably kill" any prospect of a U.S. -U.K. free-trade agreement.

Trump, during his visit, has met with Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II.

Trump added that he thought May's response was "very professional".

On Friday afternoon, May and Trump were together at a joint press conference after holding previously scheduled talks at the prime minister's country residence Chequers.

Serena Williams Gets Emotional Over Losing Wimbledon Amid Comeback
Earlier this week, Serena Williams told reporters that she has "always had a wonderful friendship" with Meghan. There was a time, not all that long ago, that Williams was ranked No. 1 for years at a time. "It's insane .

NBC's White House correspondent Kristen Welker asked Trump if taking on North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies, and criticizing May on her own soil, gave Russian ruler Vladimir Putin the upper hand heading into their meeting next week, given that Putin seeks to destroy these alliances.

Last week at the same location, May finally won agreement for her Brexit plans from her cabinet but within days, two senior ministers quit, which Trump said earlier in the week had left Britain in turmoil. Her Conservative government is deeply split between supporters of a clean break with the European Union and those who want to keep close ties with the bloc, Britain's biggest trading partner.

"The sense of betrayal in this country will be huge, and I very much hope that she's out of office before too long", Farage said.

Yvette Cooper, a Labour MP and chairwoman of parliament's home affairs committee said: "Trump's appalling behaviour makes me sympathise with Theresa May. I'll be over there just as the decision's coming in", he said.

The president slammed Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, a city that has been the target of several terrorist attacks in recent years: "I look at cities in Europe, and I can be specific if you'd like".

"I read reports where that won't be possible, but I believe after speaking with the Prime Minister's people and representatives and trade experts it will absolutely be possible".

Following their talks, Mr Trump and his wife Melania flew by helicopter for tea with the Queen at Windsor Castle where they were greeted with a guard of honour from 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards.
