Claiming of pre-orders and settlement of remaining balance are by August 6. It comes in two colors - Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. As we told you earlier, Oppo is going to launch their flagship smartphone with a motorized camera on July 12.

Oppo has spent a lot of time in designing the Find X, and it shows. It's all-glass and metal, blended together.

Find X is the first device to have a 92.5% Screen-to-body ratio. Oppo has managed to shrink down bezels completely. The bezels at the left, right and top of the screen are minuscule, and, the bezel at the bottom isn't that big either. Technically, it's 93.8 percent screen with no notch.

The second unique feature has to be its nearly all-screen design, which is something that Lenovo promised us with the Lenovo Z5 but failed to attain. In terms of specifics, the smartphone features a 6.4-inch Ultra FullView OLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The colours were accurate and details sharp.

Oppo has become the first Android smartphone maker to feature 3D Structured Light Technology in their new Oppo find X. The phone will also be available via offline stores across the nation. The Vivo Nex also uses a pop-up module, but only for its selfie camera.

When it comes to the motorized camera, I'm a little anxious about what happens if you drop the phone - and no, I've not tried. For clicking selfies, there is a 25-megapixels AI backed front camera. Under the hood, the Find X has the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, which we have seen on other smartphones such as OnePlus 6 and the Asus Zenfone 5Z.

With the latest trend, Oppo has totally got rid of the fingerprint sensor and relies exclusively on face recognition. OPPO ditched this placement and integrated a motorised slider on top of the phone, which houses both the front and rear cameras and pops-up instantly as the camera app opens or the phone needs to be unlocked via Face Unlock. The Find X does not come with a fingerprint sensor but is confident about the facial recognition system on the device. The smartphone is powered by the top-of-the-line 2.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is aided by 8GB of RAM and an Adreno 540 GPU.

The flagship from Oppo runs on Android 8.1 with Oppo's custom skin ColorOS applied on it. This kind of design also eliminates the need to go for a display notch to offer more screen real estate. But as a user, I have a few doubts about the design choice made by Oppo.

It has a motorised camera module that slides up and down. At the back, you have a dual cameras setup which consists of one 16 MP and one 20 MP camera.
