Prince Louis Is Awake and Adorable in Additional Christening Photo

While the photos of the whole family included a few new members, namely Meghan Markle and Pippa Middleton's husband James Matthews, they were also missing Gan-Gan, Prince Louis's great-grandmother the Queen.

Prince Louis, the third child of Britain's Prince William and wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, was christened at a small, private ceremony on Tuesday. The official photographs were taken by Matt Holyoak after the christening.

And with Louis' brother and sister, George and Charlotte, joining him for the occasion, it was the first time the Cambridges have been seen altogether as a family of five. It's a replica of the gown Queen Victoria had commissioned for her oldest daughter, Victoria, in 1841, which was worn by royal babies until 2008.

A final image shows Kate and Louis in the garden at Clarence House, with the mother-of-three looking down at the bright-eyed royal baby in her arms.

Prince George's 2013 christening photos were taken by Jason Bell, a celebrity photographer who has snapped stars including David Beckham and Kate Winslet.

Mr Porteous, who attended Bel Royal School, also photographed the wedding of the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa, who married James Matthews in a star-studded ceremony previous year.

Louis is fifth in the line of succession to the British throne after his grandfather Prince Charles, his father William, George and Charlotte.

So we know by now that the Queen, and Prince Philip, missed out on the Christening of Prince Louis.

According to the BBC, Prince Louis wore a long silk and lace robe.
