Chris Pratt's Cowboy Ninja Viking Delayed As Film Loses Release Date

Coming Soon reports that Universal Pictures has removed Chris Pratt's new film Cowboy Ninja Viking from its schedule, as it was originally set for June 28, 2019. That's pretty shocking for a film that was going to go into production next month. Names like Marc Forster and "John Wick" veterans David Leitch and Chad Stahelski were mooted as possible directors, however "Breaking Bad" alum Michelle MacLaren was officially locked in for the role. Maybe the movie wasn't where they wanted it to be or maybe they actually wanted to get it right since they're hoping for a franchise hit.

Salman had also hinted that apart from her rumoured engagement to singer Nick Jonas, the reason for Priyanka's exit from his film can be the Hollywood movie. MacLaren and Pratt will still remain attached to the project, with Chopra staying on if the scheduling ultimately works out. Game of Thrones co-executive producer Guymon Casady has been signed up as producer, as well as Ben Forkner.

Rool are entirely new, as Richter, Chrom , and Dark Samus are all echo characters that are essentially clones of other fighters. Nintendo's United Kingdom twitter account even confirmed that Luigi is "okay", so there shouldn't be too much to worry about.

Chris Pratt's next big blockbuster has been delayed indefinitely.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is based on the Image Comics graphic novel by A J Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo and revolves around an assassin who manifests the toughest skills of three different personas: a cowboy, a ninja, and a Viking. Yes, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has turned a huge profit for Universal, but the sequel will still come in about $400 million below the first film, and let's not forget that Pratt's expensive sci-fi movie Passengers, which paired him with a strong box office draw in Jennifer Lawrence, barely turned a profit. Perhaps things behind the scenes of Cowboy Ninja Viking have just been far more complicated than any of us laymen ever realized.
