Michael Moore's Trump documentary will release in September

Speaking with HuffPost, Moore described the motives behind his new film.

Other highlights from the preview include Moore hosing down the home of Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder with water from the city of Flint, interviews with survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, and a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the campaign of politician and activist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who, at 28 years old, won the June 2018 Democratic primary in New York's 14th congressional district over Democratic caucus chair Joseph Crowley.

Michael Moore is prepping a documentary, Fahrenheit 11/9, about President Trump and says the leader of the free world should be anxious. "Once we come together in lovely harmony, the Trump crime family will be prosecuted, law and order will be restored, we'll have Medicare for All".

The title itself references one of Moore's most famous documentaries, Fahrenheit 9/11, which focused on the country after the election of George W. Bush and the events that unfolded after the September 11 attacks in 2001.

Given how so much of Donald Trump's presidency is being played out on screens and online, it seems nearly pointless at this stage to have a documentary on him when the story hasn't even finished playing itself out yet.

In the trailer, Moore also hoses down Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder's lawn with water he says is from Flint, a city that made headlines for the risky amounts of lead in its water sources.

Senator Paul delivers letter from Trump to Putin's government
Paul remained supportive of Trump following the US President's performance during a news conference with Putin in July. He also held talks in Moscow with parliamentarians and pledged to block new sanctions against Russian Federation .

The movies is expected to hit American theatres on September 21.

And, of course, there are images of President Trump. We don't need hope. He emphasizes that having "hope" alone is passive, saying our nation should not rely on this to solve our problems.

"If nothing else, I hope this film exposes that grave danger and shows people the way out", Moore said. Hope, and the passivity that comes with it, is what helped get us here to begin with".

The new documentary will premiere at this year's Toronto Film Festival before a US release on September 21.

Fahrenheit 11/9 is due in U.S. theatres on September 21.
