West Ham sign Lucas Perez from Arsenal

Sanchez, along with Jack Wilshere and the club-record signing of Felipe Anderson, will shape a new-look Hammers midfield this season.

The 29-year-old arrived from Arsenal on the Premier League's deadline day for a fee in the region of £4m and put pen-to-paper to a three-year deal.

Perez scored eight goals for Deportivo on loan last season, having scored seven goals in his first season for Arsenal.

The Mexico worldwide scored just eight goals in 28 league appearances last season but is looking forward to working with Pellegrini.

"Carlos is a very experienced player whose career I have always followed closely and with admiration", West Ham director of football Mario Husillos said.

Arsenal are said to be keen to cash in on Perez and Emery has reportedly warned both the Spaniard and fellow striker Danny Welbeck that they will have minimal game-time if they stay at the club this summer.

Health officials in Saada told Al Jazeera that 43 people were killed and 61 were wounded in the attack, the majority of whom were children.

West Ham have continued their £100million summer spree by signing Lucas Perez - and will swoop for "The Rock" next.

"There are other clubs interested but joining West Ham would allow him to continue in London and in the Premier League and Lucas wants to continue in London".

"He has great technical quality, and can play as both the main striker or the second striker in a deeper role".

"In Spain there are also interest from some clubs, but they are not willing to assume the transfer".

"Lucas also has experience of the Premier League with Arsenal, and is familiar with life here in London, which of course means that he will take less time to adapt and be ready".
