Ex-Cowboys running back Joseph Randle accused of sexual assault

Former NFL running back Joseph Randle has been arrested in Kansas today and charged with rape.

According to jail records obtained by TMZ, Randle was arrested for rape early Friday morning in Sedgwick County, Kansas.

The 26-year-old has spent most of the past two years in jail but was released in June after receiving five years' probation related to an altercation at a house party in 2016.

He received six months of probation in 2015 after getting arrested for shoplifting the year before, NBC News reports.

The couple's attorney, Ernest Badway, argued in court that they have given Bobbitt more than $200,000 of the funds raised. The GoFundMe cash, Bobbitt suspected, had been squandered on vacations, a luxury auto and more than one addiction.

This is far from the first time Randle has been in trouble. Several of them were related to Randle hitting three people with a auto after an argument at a housewarming party. He was later convicted of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, criminal threat, and marijuana possession, in relation to the incident.

Randle played for Dallas from 2013-15. Randle was asked to leave the party, and he reportedly backed his vehicle into a number of other guests on his way out.

Randle was named the Cowboys' starting running back in 2015 before injuries sidelined him and gave Darren McFadden a chance to take over the role.
