Julie Chen Leaving The Talk; Will She Also Leave Big Brother?

As we saw last Thursday, she showed up and hosted as usual (aside from her new sign-off as "Julie Chen Moonves").

A new report indicates that Julie Chen is about to walk away from her co-hosting gig on The Talk in light of the allegations against her husband, recently-ousted CBS chief Les Moonves.

Julie will reportedly continue her duties as the host of Big Brother. It could be this week, or she could do it after 'Big Brother, ' but she will be leaving. A source told the publication that while it's unclear whether it was her decision or not to step down from the show, they "wouldn't be surprised" if she was asked to leave.

Last week, The View co-hosts all weighed in on Julie Chen's fate, with the consensus being it would be very hard for Julie Chen to return to her seat on the CBS talk show. The TV host has publicly supported her husband since multiple women came forward to "s Ronan Farrow with accusations of sexual abuse against Moonves in July and September".

It is said to have been the first time Chen has used her married name on the show shes been hosting for almost two decades.

Then more women came out, and Chen skipped "The Talk" season premiere last week.

He tweeted: 'Tonight, Julie Chen signed off Big Brother as Julie Chen Moonves, firmly standing w/her husband, a serial sexual assaulter who ruined careers. "Some of you may be aware of what's been going on in my life the past few days", she said. Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. She's hosted the show since 2000. He's always been a kind, decent and moral human being.

Reps for CBS and Chen did not immediately respond. I fully support my husband, and I stand behind him and his statement'.
