Julie Chen, Wife of Les Moonves, to Leave ‘The Talk’ on CBS

Later, Chen fought back tears while thanking the show's crew, and said personalized messages to her co-hosts including Sheryl Underwood and Eve. With Les battling these misconduct allegations, reports claimed that Julie's priorities changed, with "clearing her husband's name" and tending to her son, 8-year-old Charlie Moonves, suddenly becoming her main focus. Whether or not she will return to host the next installment of Big Brother Celebrity or Big Brother 21 (presuming that Big Brother gets renewed) is up in the air.

A CBS spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment Monday night.

Julie Chen officially parted ways with The Talk on Tuesday, little more than one week after husband Les Moonves was sacked from CBS in the wake of sexual harassment allegations.

Julie Chen is officially stepping away from The Talk. "Goodnight", the CBS star said. As for her future with her husband, Julie is reportedly "100%" not leaving Les, and is standing by him as he fights these allegations. On the September 10 show, her co-hosts talked about their need to talk openly about the situation.

What's going on with Antonio Brown and the Steelers?
That's not anything more than him encouraging his coaches and teammates to win. But, well, after firing off that tweet, we don't know what Brown did.

Chen, who also hosts Big Brother on CBS, closed out Thursday's double-elimination episode of the reality competition series voicing support for her husband without addressing the situation directly by saying, "from outside the Big Brother House with Brent, I'm Julie Chen Moonves".

"Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader", she tweeted.

"I want to say that whatever times I've had of hardship over the past eight years, Julie has always been there for me", Osbourne added. He's always been a kind, decent and moral human being. Moonves has denied the allegations. For the first time, she used her full, married name when signing off.

According to CNN, two sources close to Chen said she will be leaving the panel chat show "effective immediately". I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement'. She will also hopefully include the news that she will continue hosting Big Brother for the rest of the season at least.
