Melania Trump visits Kenyan national park, plans safari

Melania Trump began her African tour two days ago when she went to Ghana.

Pope said health care cuts to Malawi will have severe negative impact on women and children.

As she held a baby wrapped in a blanket, the USA first lady thanked the staff for taking care of the children.

On Friday, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta will take Melania to visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust before heading to State House for talks.

Daniel Afful, a local, called Trump "brave". At one intersection, hundreds of people lined up smiling and waving.

Melania embarked on her maiden trip to Africa on Tuesday, October 2, and first landed in Ghana where she was warmly received by the country's First Lady Rebbecca Akufo-Addo. Just 77 teachers educate more than 8,500 students who attend the school.

A group of children is also listed to entertain her on Friday. "We are happy today, we are happy today, we are happy to see you". Trump first observed two outside lessons conducted in their native language, Chichewa. Numerous students must sit outside in crowds around their teacher. With a smile on her face, the first lady read along with children during their lessons.

One said #MELANIATOO, with the "ME" in bold black.

Trump Supporters Fill Mayo Civic Center For Rochester Rally
Trump took a moment during the rally to mock former Democratic Sen. "You really do go off script, don't you", she said . He urged Minnesota voters to vote for Smith's Republican challenger Karin Housley.

Books in English, such as "Big Bird Can Share", and "The Long Winter" by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Judy Blume's "Just as Long As We're Together", were neatly stacked on the shelves.

Her office has described the trip as a "showcase" for the work of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), even at a time when her husband's government is looking to slash US aid across the world.

But a few signs of protest were afoot, too, as President Trump is not widely seen as a friend of Africa. "Thank you for educating them to "be best" and to grow up into educated adults for generations to come".

Following the school visit, Trump arrived at the statehouse, home to Peter Mutharika, the President of Malawi, at 4:17 pm.

South Africa was not on the first lady's itinerary.

"We welcome Madam Melania to Africa particularly Malawi".

After about 20 minutes of tea, the first ladies strolled onto the terrace to applause.

Dressed in brown trousers, a white blouse and maroon boots, she greeted, sang and danced with the children at the "The Nest Children's Home". She later traveled to Malawi where she took in a school lesson with children.

The Kenya Wildlife Service headquarters is also anticipating a visit by Melania Trump.
