SpaceX to launch and land Falcon 9 rocket from Southern California

The primary objective of the mission was to place the SAOCOM 1A satellite into space, but SpaceX also wanted to expand its recovery of first-stage boosters to its launch site at Vandenberg Air Force Base, about 130 miles north-west of Los Angeles. The rocket's reusable first stage landed back at the base without a problem in less than 10 minutes, a first.

"We're all about creating an experience that we can remember moving forward, and create memories as a family, and this is definitely something that's gonna be ingrained forever", said mother Frankie Podrat. The rocket boosted an Argentine environmental satellite into orbit.

The mission consisted of two identical satellites, SAOCOM 1A and 1B, each of which carries an L-Band SAR polarimetric instrument. Any rocket launch is exciting, but SpaceX's Falcon 9 has completed so many missions at this point that yet another satellite delivery is easy to overlook.

Paul Scholes hits out at 'embarrassing' Jose Mourinho
I think his mouth is probably out of control and I think he is embarrassing the club ", he said. It's a free country, he can say what he wants".

The event marked the company's first West Coast landing on dry land.

CONAE was one of the company's first customers, signing up for two Falcon 9 launches back when SpaceX had only flown the smaller Falcon 1 vehicle. Musk has also co-founded several successful companies including Tesla, OpenAI, Neuralink, and PayPal. Most likely this is related to the SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket which launched around 7:30 p.m. Residents in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties may hear sonic booms. Finally, dropping straight down toward Landing Zone 4, the rocket's four landing legs deployed, a single engine re-started and the booster settled to a picture-perfect touchdown in a cloud of smoke.

Known as plume interaction, the phenomena has been known to produce extraordinary visual effects and the launch of SAOCOM 1A was certainly no exception.
