Selena Gomez Hospitalized For 'Emotional Breakdown'

Selena Gomez has been hospitalised after "emotional breakdown".

Selena Gomez has reportedly checked into a mental health facility following an "emotional breakdown". She apparently was despondent and emotional over an alarmingly low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant.

The 26-year-old singer and actress is said to be seeking treatment after a rumored panic attack brought on by medical setbacks. She was released from the hospital after a few days, but had to be re-admitted after the symptoms persisted.

Insiders revealed to People that Gomez had a "tough few weeks" and suffered a panic attack in the hospital.

She is said to be now receiving dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) which is used to treat various mental health disorders and is something she has had in the past.

Radar previously reported that Gomez was traumatized by her friend Demi Lovato's overdose.

Life-threatening storm surges of up to 14 feet are expected in some areas, the National Weather Service warned Wednesday. Only a skeleton staff remained at Tyndall Air Force Base, situated on a peninsula just south of Panama City.

"She realised she needed to seek additional help for her ongoing emotional issues".

This comes just weeks after the songstress announced she'd be taking a break from social media.

We're sending Selena lots of love and hope she is doing well.

It's not the first time that Selena has been treated for mental health issues with DBT.

"As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each offs, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given".

In addition to still being anxious about her best friend, the source told Radar tonight, she is still reeling over ex-boyfriend Bieber's quickie engagement and marriage to Hailey Baldwin just months after their split. Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody's feelings.
