Blizzard Says It 'Didn't Pull Any Announcements From BlizzCon'

Apparently, the new Diablo project was a mess and barely greeted by all the fans across the world.

Yesterday's report revealed that Blizzard recorded a video in which co-founder Allen Adham talked about a new Diablo game.

Yesterday afternoon, Kotaku reported a story that Blizzard Entertainment had originally planned to announce Diablo 4 at Blizzcon 2018 via a video presentation.

"Blizzard coyly played up the Diablo hype, which is a good move, but failed to anticipate that their PC based audience was going to expect...well...a PC based announcement", Kern continues.

The singer also slipped up a bit at the end when she concluded the performance by running up the stairs through the audience. Ariana Grande has seen The First Wives Club .

With no word on a fourth proper Diablo entry, Diablo Immortal felt like a betrayal of the franchise to some and a cheap consolation prize to others.

He reassured fans that although the game is not what fans expected, Blizzard is still working on multiple unannounced Diablo projects that fans will soon get to see. It was clear that either a Diablo 4 game or a Diablo remaster title is in the works, but still, ending a show that saw big Overwatch, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft and Warcraft announcements with a mobile game was a huge misstep. In particular, the Diablo 4 team has gone through two different iterations under different directors. "So the feel, the UI and everything around this game is built with the philosophy to make the best Diablo experience we can on a mobile platform". In Diablo Immortal, players will embark on thrilling expeditions, take part in dynamic events across unique public zones, and plunder instanced dungeons, hacking and slashing their way through the demonic minions surrounding them.

The pricing structure, which hasn't been revealed, will tell us a lot about Blizzard's intentions here. It is speculated that Blizzard might have avoided the decline in stock price, and angering fans if it had simply offered a teaser or glimpse at Diablo 4, which it said is still in development. We hoped that would allay concerns, but we knew despite that our most engaged, most passionate fans and players here at this show would only be satisfied with one thing. "We are making a full-fledged action-RPG you can play everywhere with everyone", he said.

With criticism for Diablo: Immortal mounting, Blizzard has been forced to justify their decision for demoting the beloved franchise to mobile devices, which fans have described as "out of touch" and "a slap in the face."
