Andy Samberg And Sandra Oh To Host The 2019 Golden Globes

Canadian actress Sandra Oh and United States comedian Andy Samberg will co-host the 2019 Golden Globe Awards in January, organisers said on Wednesday.

The 76th Golden Globes will air Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 on NBC.

"Sandra and Andy are the flawless choices to host this world-class event", said Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks, the co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment.

Meher Tatna, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which hosts the annual Golden Globes show, said he was looking forward to seeing the duo's "undeniable chemistry" onstage.

The Golden Globes Awards honor the best of both worlds every year, with statuettes handed out to the cream of the crop in television and film.

"I am exclusively going to be watching the Golden Globes for Sandra Oh and when she's not on screen I will be looking at Instagram send tweet", one fan commented.

The nominations will stream on the Globes' website as well as its Facebook page, beginning at 8:05 a.m. ET.

Oh is best known for her former role in the long-running television hospital drama Grey's Anatomy, and is now starring in BBC America's acclaimed murder-mystery Killing Eve.
