Huawei’s first notch-free all-screen smartphone is the Nova 4

Huawei’s first notch-free all-screen smartphone is the Nova 4

And soon after Huawei, Samsung also confirmed the launch date of its Galaxy A8s handset to be December 10. Now, with Huawei having announced the Nova 4 launch for December 17th, Samsung has pipped the Chinese company by declaring their launch nearly a week earlier.

Of course, United States commercial rollouts are by no means guaranteed (quite on the contrary if we're talking about Huawei's phone), but these are also momentous products for what they might anticipate. Instead of a notch, Huawei will use an in-screen camera technology with the lens placed in the top left corner.

As for the phone's specs, expect something that's up there with the best mid-rangers out there but not as powerful as the company's P or Mate lines of flagship products. Coming out of nowhere was the Huawei Nova 4, which led everyone to believe Huawei will be the first to announce such a phone.

The Samsung Galaxy A8s will likely be released in China first prior to making a worldwide debut.

Samsung teased the Galaxy A8s phone on Chinese social media platform Weibo revealing the screen design.

Going by the rumours and reports, the Galaxy A8s is expected to sport a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with full-HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Speculation is rife that the rear of the Galaxy A8s will be home to a triple camera setup very similar to the Galaxy A7 (2018). Samsung calls it an Infinity-O display, which will replace the notch with a hole within the display to host the selfie camera and other sensors. All of these upcoming smartphones have been leaked numerous times over the web giving us an insight on the expected specifications and features which these smartphones will offer. It will have a brand new look, different from all the other bezel-less smartphones on the market.
