According to news reports, Singh has also been questioned by the authorities following his detention. But a source in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that Mika had been detained for questioning after the 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint of harassment.

Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been arrested by Dubai police for alleged sexual misconduct, reported Republic TV on Thursday.

Siinger Mika Singh was detained in Dubai after a complaint was received that he sent an obscene photograph to a Brazilian teenager.

The diplomat said Singh was arrested in Dubai but taken to Abu Dhabi because the complainant holds a residence visa there.
