‘Stranger Things’ Retro Game Will Follow the Events of Season Three

It's been over a year since Stranger Things 2 turned the Netflix series into an even bigger worldwide smash.

A new Stranger Things video game based around the upcoming season three of the Netflix phenomenon was revealed today during The Game Awards. An exact date wasn't given, but the game will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The Game was announced at The Game Awards by series creators Matt and Ross Duffer on Thursday night. The game, in 16-Bit, will follow the events of Stranger Things Season 3.

SpaceX launches cargo to space station
Kononenko arrived at the station Monday along with Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronaut Anne McClain. The Dragon capsule filed with supplies for Wednesday's liftoff previously launched last February on another supply run.

As you can see below, users will be able to take control of a variety of characters, from Lucas to Hopper to what appears to be either Eleven, Joyce, or Steve (please god).

As for the story, well, the Duffers aren't talking, as that would apparently spoil what's going to happen with the third season of Stranger Things. It's just a matter of seeing what settles over the next few months. They also shared a trailer for the game. And, at the same time, moderately simple, and in a way, nostalgic. The trailer gives a glimpse at some of the settings for Stranger Things season 3, including a government lab and the mall food court that we saw in the first teaser.
