The Pixel 3's Big Bug Fix Update Is Here

"If you're in Germany, look out for the ability to purchase Pixel 3 with eSIM functionality from Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone soon".

This fix "keeps background apps from being prematurely closed", "improves memory performance in certain circumstances", and "improves camera capture performance".

The December security patch is rolling out to Pixel and Nexus devices, with Google taking to opportunity to implement a number of updates and bugfixes for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that launched back on October 9th.

Google has been leading the charge towards eSIMs, as they're called: the Pixel 2 was the first big smartphone to offer eSIM capability, and now the Pixel 3 has followed suit. In India, e-SIM support will be rolled out for both Airtel and Reliance Jio for Pixel 3 in the coming months, revealed the company.

Express.co.uk recently reviewed the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL saying: "These Google-powered devices are fast, feature-packed and offer the ultimate experience for those who want pure Android power". You should also notice better Hotword recognition and performance as well. You should see it with the others I mentioned.

There's also plenty of other fixes onboard as well, including improvements for the Pixel 2 and 3's camera, notification visibility while using the Pixel Stand, Android Auto, Always-On display triggering, USB-C audio accessory compatibility, and Bluetooth.

That's not really much to shout about though, given you can already get those prices at Carphone Warehouse and John Lewis.
