Announcing the transition in its brand identity, Honor on Weibo posted a small video to spell out the change and added that, "New HONOR (logo) just changes the shape and color, but we embrace the trend (and) the courage transformation of attitude".

Huawei sub-brand Honor, as rumored previously, has unveiled a new smartphone in its View series; the Honor View 20 launch took place in Hong Kong.

All View, of course, and that is exactly what the new Honor View 20 apparently carries, judging from the presentation slide above.

Honor will officially reveal other details of Honor V20 including its price on December 26. The global launch of the View20 is in January next year, but the smartphone will also be launching in Beijing on 26 December this year. Finally, the View 20 will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset.
