Susan Boyle auditions for America's Got Talent

"I'm very happy and very humble", Boyle said of the accolades following her performance.

Susan Boyle, who stunned audience members and judges almost a decade ago during her audition on "Britain's Got Talent", made a triumphant return to the stage Monday on "America's Got Talent: The Champions".

Boyle - who came second on Britain's Got Talent in 2009 - performed her ballad-style version of The Rolling Stones classic Wild Horses.

But it was Mel B who had the night's Golden Buzzer and before she pressed it, sending confetti streaming all over the stage, she said.

"What an absolute honour and pleasure it is to be sitting here and listening to you and your angelic voice", the Spice Girl said on the show.

After the performance, Cowell, 59, said: "I can not think of any other contestant who has defined this show better than you. I'm absolutely thrilled you're here".

For example, the VR software Lockheed Martin uses to train new pilots will use eye tracking to examine reaction times and focus. This renders sharp images for wherever the human eye is looking in a virtual scene and reduces the image in the periphery.

Boyle got world-wide attention back in 2009 when she wowed the audience with her powerful performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" on "Britain's Got Talent".

Adding a sequin dress to the mix, Susan showed off her jaw-dropping style to the viewers as she shocked the audience.

Despite finishing second on Britian's Got Talent, Boyle says she already feels like a champion "for those who don't have the confidence to do things, for those who don't have a voice (and) the ones who people tend to ignore".

She went on to release several more albums and received two Grammy nominations.

America's Got Talent: The Champions, which premiered on Monday, 7th January 2019, brings back successful contestants from earlier versions of the United Kingdom and USA versions of the show.

An insider told the publication: "This is a big year for Susan and she is very much stepping back into the limelight with her AGT champions appearance being just the start". Her hit albums have topped the charts in the United Kingdom and sold more than 20 million copies around the world.
