Resident Evil 2 Remake demo is a limited time offer

When completed, a brand-new trailer exclusive to the demo will play, giving another glimpse at the title that launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019. Players who complete the demo in under 30 minutes will be able to restart it and play until they've used up the half hour. There's inherent tension and pressure in a ticking time limit, especially when you're in a horror game where ammo and health scarcity is a constant concern. Once you finally reach an "S" rank the full theme song will begin to play and when you get a triple "S" rank, the volume pumps up, the effects are in full swing, and the characters begin to react to the epic style abilities. The demo can not be restarted or replayed. While you'll be locked out of playing once that time limit is up, if you unlocked the trailer you'll be able to watch it as many times as you want afterward. The demo will only be playable for 30 minutes and puts players in the boots of Leon Kennedy. He must survive the zombie hordes while finding a way out of the station.

"With an entire building of flesh-eating nightmares lurking between Leon and his escape while the clock ticks down, players need to be sure they're killing more than just time".

The demo is actually rather peculiar, as it's timed, as you can read below.

Given that so few games even do demos nowadays, it's nice to see something a little bit different done with the idea. That demo will release this week.
