IN fell to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in Big Ten play.

After going 4-for-9 in the first half from three point range, MI failed to make another three during the game, due to the Hoosiers committal to force the Wolverines to win the game in the paint.

Indiana's Juwan Morgan scored 25 points on 9-of-22 shooting and Romero Langford added 17 points while limited by foul trouble.

Charles Matthews scored 16 of his 18 points in the first half to help No. 2 MI build a double-digit lead and the Wolverines held on for a 74-63 victory over No. 21 in on Sunday to remain unbeaten.

Brandon Johns Jr, a freshman who came into the game averaging 0.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per game, played a season-high 13 minutes, due to the absence of Isaiah Livers, finishing with eight points and eight rebounds.

"We're just anxious about getting better", Poole said.

The Heisman runner-up was also the second-best quarterback on the field in the championship game. But first, let's take a stroll back through the 2018 postseason.

IN is 12-2 and winners of seven-straight.

"We set the tone and we got their two big guys in foul trouble", MI coach John Beilein said.

The Wolverines (15-0, 4-0 Big Ten) are a win away from matching their best start in school history.

MI jumped out to a 23-9 lead in the game and led 44-29 at halftime. The Hoosiers return to action on Friday night at Maryland. The Michigan Wolverines, the 2nd ranked team in men's college basketball, are getting the opportunity to host the Indiana Hoosiers, the 21st ranked team.

The Hoosiers failed to get the stops they needed on defense to fight their way back in the game after an early deficit. IN will have more depth when center De'Ron Davis and guard Rob Phinisee return from injuries. It'll probably be low scoring, given how MI grinds their opponents down, and IN will have to play at a level that it has yet to hit if it wants to topple the Wolverines.

"I just have to be smarter", Morgan said.
