NBA All-Star Voting: Second Returns Released

Lakers forward LeBron James, Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Celtics guard Kyrie Irving lead their respective positions and conference, while players like Dallas' Luka Doncic and Minnesota's Derrick Rose are still atop the lists. Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers is behind him with 695,032 votes.

In 2018-19, Walker has appeared in 40 games for the Hornets and is averaging a career-high 25.1 points and a career-high 3.2 three-point field goals to go along with 5.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. NBA All-Star weekend will tip off on February 15.

The top vote-getters from each conference will serve as team captains.

Back-to-back NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant has been knocked out of the Western Conference starting five in the most recent fan voting for the All-Star Game, the league announced Thursday.

After the match he was optimistic of a bigger and better year around. "If I was one of the top seeds, I'd be a bit anxious about him next week".

The starting lineup consists of two guards and three frontcourt players, so Durant is now on the outside looking in when it comes to the fan vote.

Current NBA players account for 25 percent of the vote; so does a media panel. The top vote victor in each conference is named the captain of their team, and then they draft players from either conference's all-star starters and reserves list to comprise their team. Details about the NBA All-Star Draft will be announced at a later date. A third report on all-star balloting will come out on January 17 before the final votes are then revealed for the 10 starters on January 24. Reserves, as selected by National Basketball Association head coaches, will be announced on Thursday, January 31. Once again, though, there may be trouble climbing up the ladder much further, as the only other player in Hayward's ballpark vote-wise is Vince Carter, who, along with Wade, has also had a strong legacy All-Star campaign. He sits a mere 7,000~ votes behind Raptors phenom Pascal Siakam for ninth. One remaining fan voting update will be shared on Thursday, Jan. 17.

The format for drafting teams from last season remains in place.
