Quick-thinking Milwaukee bus driver saves wandering baby, dramatic video shows

The lost child was the ninth lost or missing child found by Milwaukee County Transit System drivers in recent years, officials said.

According to authorities, the toddler was discovered to be less than a year old and it's believed the mother, who may have been suffering from mental health issues, may have left the boy outside.

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele awarded her with a commemoration plaque while offering a glowing appraisal of the employee's efforts to save the lost child.

Authorities eventually reunited the baby girl with her father.

The child slows down for a moment then begins to run again.

Inexplicably, a baby boy is running along a narrow sidewalk on a highway overpass.

Ivic stopped her bus, ran across the street and picked up the child. There's no one else in the street.

"Oh my God. Oh my God".

Recently, driver Irena Ivic was on her route when she saw a baby wearing only a diaper and a onesie walking alone on a freeway overpass.

A passenger noticed the youngster was shivering so put her jacket around her to keep her warm. "I find a child and upset and if I have the same situation again, I will of course again help", said Ivic.

"Oh my god, oh my god", she said. A passenger can be seen getting up and giving her coat to Ivic for the little boy, who quickly fell asleep in his rescuer's arms.
