'PUBG Lite' Announced as a Free, Standalone Product

PUBG Lite will be a shrunken down version of the PC game created to run on older GPUs or even integrated graphics, and it will be available completely free.

PUBG Lite will be a standalone game, with its own development team and content creation stream, and will support solo, duo, and squad play in third-person perspective. According to a blog post on the company's official website from its developers, PUBG Lite will soon make it to other countries.

Both the Miramar and Erangel maps are included in the port, which has recommended specs that line up with the lowest specs on the main version of the game.

PUBG Corp. announced the new PUBG product recently and said it's now available in a beta testing form, though it's only been released in Thailand so far. Even more excruciating is the fact publisher has not stated when the beta will be opened up to other players outside of Thailand. The game is available for Xbox and PlayStation 4, as well as PCs that meet the minimum required specs.

Conspiracy behind Jared Kushner Security Clearance
It has not just questioned the credibility of the White House and its processes, but can also impact Donald Trump's presidency. The president's son-in-law wasn't the only one in the White House who raised red flags among security officials.

"Deliver the PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS experience to players in areas where the core game's required specifications are more hard to achieve due to the hardware available", the PUBG Lite team said about the new product. "The end result is a build that is playable even on computers and laptops utilizing integrated graphics".

Players using this version of the game will be able to participate in battles of up to 100 players and fight to be the last player standing. Up until now, the only option budget gamers have had is to run the free PUBG mobile app on an Android emulator, which is about as bad as it sounds.

That said, we can't imagine PUBG Lite will be limited to such a small playerbase for long. The order and pace at which the new maps will be added to PUBG Lite wasn't addressed.
