Nokia returns to the United States via Cricket and Verizon Wireless

Since the Nokia 1 Plus is an entry-level phone, there is 1GB RAM and the MediaTek MT6739WW chip which is a quad-core processor with the four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz.

The Nokia 3.1 packs an octa-core Snapdragon 439, 5.99-inch HD+ display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The two Android phones that would be available in the U.S. are Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 2V.

Starbucks' Howard Schultz 'seriously considering' independent run for president
What we're seeing taking place between the Democrats is very similar to what we saw in 2010 with the rise of the Tea Party. The majority view of the 50 delegations, not actual control of the House, would determine the outcome of any such vote.

Compared to the number of tweaks made bringing the 3.1 Plus to Cricket, we're looking at fewer changes with Verizon's new option, and the Nokia 2 V is basically the same hardware we got with the worldwide 2.1. There may be more to come from Nokia, according to HMD Global VP Americas Maurizio Angelone. "With the launch of the Nokia 2 V, we can offer prepaid customers a feature-packed smartphone with tremendous battery life at an affordable price", said Brian Higgins, Vice President of Device and Consumer Product Marketing at Verizon. Nokia 2V and Nokia 3.1 are cheap, but they're not the cheapest Nokia-branded smartphones that you can find; that title belongs to the Nokia 1, a device that made its debut on the market back in April. The display size was not revealed in this leak but looking at the render, we are sure that the screen is around 5 inches. However, one can see that the device has sharper edges and is a departure from the more pebble-like design of Nokia 1. This can mean Nokia 9 PureView might make an appearance during the smartphone-focused trade show.

Consumers can pick up the new Nokia 3.1 Plus from Cricket Wireless starting today for $159.99.

There's a third undisclosed Nokia phone coming to North America, in Canada, by way of Rogers subsidiary, chatr. But it does boast a pretty big 4,000mAh battery. We have yet to learn anything about the Nokia 1 Plus' availability and pricing, but we suspect it will be officially introduced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in later February, so we won't have to wait that long for that piece of information.
