Floyd Mayweather claims Gervonta Davis is fighting Tenshin Nasukawa in RIZIN

Confirming the news post-fight on the back of watching Davis defend his WBA super featherweight title at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Mayweather confirmed his blueprint for the coming months.

Unbeaten Davis lived up to his knockout-artist reputation with his 20th win inside the distance out of his 21 victories. Ruiz was a late replacement for former three-division world champion Abner Mares, who withdrew due to a detached retina in his right eye sustained during a training session. The 24-year-old Davis is the youngest USA -born world titlist in boxing and was headlining for the first time.

The southpaw didn't disappoint in his first main event fight featured on Showtime Saturday evening delivering another knockout, something the boxing world is getting used to seeing.

And it appears Mayweather is setting up another exhibition bout for Nasukawa. "We could do that", Davis said.

"I'm proud of Tank, and he's gonna stay active", Mayweather said. "So first it's Tenshin in April and then in May it's the real fight".

The bout was contested at 147 pounds, far north of the weight Nasukawa typically fights at.

North and South Korea Want to Host the 2032 Olympics Together
The signed agreement is called "preliminary" as of now since it needs to be approved by South Korea's National Assembly. USA intelligence is not certain how many nuclear warheads North Korea has, with estimates between 20 and 60.

Remarkably it's not the first time Mayweather has opted to wear the knee high boots that look like he's about to star in a western movie.

The fight itself was half the story as the over 8,000 people in attendance, mostly came for Davis whether to cheer or boo, they were invested in his fight.

Mayweather's exhibition against Nasukawa as part of RIZIN 14, lasted less than one round, as the retired world champion boxer demolished the smaller/younger kickboxer.

It's exactly how he should've done it, given that Ruiz was a late replacement who'd fought less than a month ago, and only past year moved up to featherweight from junior featherweight.

"Am I having more exhibitions?"

Mayweather said that he earned $9 million - plus a $1 million bonus - for the exhibition with Nasukawa and said he would likely participate in future exhibition fights.
