Liam Rosenior praises Stuart Dallas despite Leeds defeat in play-offs

Frank Lampard says his Derby County side proved their doubters wrong after coming from behind to beat Leeds United 4-2 at Elland Road and book a showdown with Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final.

Earlier in the season Leeds were fined £200,000 for breaching the EFL's code of conduct when they sent a member of staff to watch a Derby training session before a Sky Bet Championship match between the two clubs in January.

Derby made history by becoming the first side to win a second-tier play-off semi-final after losing the first leg at home.

Leeds looked to have regained control on an awesome night of football when Stuart Dallas bagged his second, but there was still time for more drama.

Bielsa declined to single out Kiko Casilla for personal criticism, but admitted his goalkeeper's mistake at the end of the first half had introduced "20 minutes of disorder" that had cost Leeds the game.

Weather conditions in the area on Monday included high overcast skies with 14 kph southeast winds. One woman says people are changing their plans in the wake of the tragedy.

Inside the away dressing room, Lampard could be seen dancing around as the jubilant Derby players repeated the lines to the tune of Oasis' Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

Lampard, who will come up against his former Chelsea team mate John Terry, who is assistant coach at Villa, hailed the approach of his players. I'm not going to lie maybe it is.

That put Leeds 2-0 up on aggregate but just before the break, a bad defensive mix-up between Leeds keeper Kiko Casilla and defender Liam Cooper allowed Derby substitute Marriott to convert into an empty net with his first touch of the game. "We have to enjoy the moment but now prepare for Aston Villa, but we'll be underdogs again", he said.

Leeds fans knew who to blame for the loss on social media after the final whistle, with the Spanish stopper getting absolutely no love at all from supporters after the decisive moment in not just the semi-final, but their entire season.
