Skull and Bones Not Being Released Until After March 2020

In what has now become an annual tradition (two years running!), Ubisoft has delayed Skull and Bones. The game's just gotten another official delay alongside Ubisoft's latest financial reports, and it won't be out until after the end of the company's new fiscal year - which means no sooner than March 2020.

Ubisoft has today made it their turn to go through their financial results for the year, and to predict what will happen over the next financial year. If and when we next see Skull & Bones, it will likely be very different.

Ubisoft doesn't have a new release date for the game right now, it tweeted on Wednesday. "That's the type of experience we want people to have, so it's accessible and people can understand it", Justin Farren, the game's creative director at the time, told Kotaku.

Derby made history by becoming the first side to win a second-tier play-off semi-final after losing the first leg at home. He covers all sport from football, formula one, cricket, rugby, tennis, athletics, mma and wrestling.

Originally set for an autumn 2018 release, Skull and Bones was pushed into the 2019/2020 fiscal year. The game's creative director, Justin Farren, left late previous year, so it's safe to say development has been struggling. One of those is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which will be released on October 4th.

Hopefully, we'll hear more on Skull and Bones and a potential release date at E3 2019 next month.

Skull & Bones will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Watch Dogs 3? Splinter Cell? Ubisoft hasn't really promoted it much since its reveal a couple years ago.
