'Final Fantasy VII Remake' footage blew everybody away at E3

Outriders, a brand new first-person shooter from Square Enix and People Can Fly, has received its first trailer during E3 2019. It'll be out this year for PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch.

Even if you aren't familiar with Final Fantasy VII, it's hard not to get swept up by this game.

If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy's soundtrack, there is some good news. Players can expect to see the new IP heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Summer 2020.

During the E3 2019 Square Enix conference, it was revealed that Final Fantasy VIII, which first came out on the PlayStation in 1998, is getting a remaster.

Anthony Joshua 'doesn't remember anything after the third round', says Eddie Hearn
After the bout, the new champion said he would take a rematch at any time. "I think he was probably too overconfident. Joshua, 29, was floored four times as USA-born Mexican Ruiz won in seven rounds at Madison Square Garden in NY .

He debuted the long version of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer which features Tifa in her original costume. But Square Enix has made something more complex than that, as the system doesn't simply find a middle ground, it actively pivots between a couple of ideas.

Most of all, though, I like what this new battle system represents: that this is a true re-thinking of Final Fantasy 7, not a new set of clothes. You can swap between party members with one button, and the process of pausing combat with an ATB, launching a special attack, and instantly swapping to another party member as that special attack goes off looked pretty fast.

Square Enix revealed announced the game's Deluxe, Digital Deluxe, and 1st Class Editions.

There are still a lot of questions about how the whole game will be tweaked and upgraded. Following the combat tutorial Tetsuya Nomura, the director of Final Fantasy VII Remake, took the stage.
